My name is Emily Bunnell, and I'm bad at posting...

Sorry for the long hiatus in posts. With our camera stranded in Utah (Mike had a business trip in Park City and accidentally left it in our car--our camera now has separation anxiety), we've been without visual documentation and thus feel any posts would be shamefully naked of visual cues. Since our last post, we've done a few things we've really enjoyed, like a trip out to Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece,"Falling Waters," in Pennsylvania with Dannii and Jess Purdy (the fall leaves and mist-covered rolling green hills left us breathless with delight), a visit to the Edward Hopper exhibit at the National Gallery with some friends from our ward, and a visit to the Natural History museum with Em Sudweeks where Mike decided that we needed a stuffed leaping tiger (or black jaguar, either really) above our front door entryway, seemingly about to pounce on all visitors (Mike's eyes widen, "that would be awesome"), and an additional display of two stuffed tigresses taking down a monstrous water buffalo, which is my dream as well, perhaps in the middle of the living room. We also thought the Hope Diamond was just "okay." Just before Thanksgiving we took a tour of the White House, during which we learned that somewhere lurking in all of that classical, governmental decorum there is a movie theater, full-sized indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a five-star restaurant, a post office, a bowling alley and a whole lot of other amenities that I wouldn't mind having in the downstairs of my house.
