This last weekend, Mike and I fled the blustery snow and spent some time in St. George with Elise and Brad Neville. For the record, we credit them for setting us up (which eventually led to our current nuptial bliss), although I doubt they would take any responsibility. I can't imagine why not. It was so lovely to see them (they now live in Carlsbad, NM--too far away) and spend time in the sun.
Friday night we went rock crawling, which, if you're not familiar, means that Brad's dad drove us in a jeep up and over very large rocks (rocks nearly as tall as the jeep). I thought we would roll over and down the hill in a firey blaze, but we just kept going up. Brad's dad made us promise to keep all arms and legs inside the vehicle should we tumble, which meant I stayed in fetal position except for the one arm protruding to hold on white-knuckled to the handle.
Saturday we went for a hike in Kanaraville (sp?). We hiked up the canyon through a frigid stream that eventually made my and Elise's feet go numb. Eventually the canyon narrowed into a slit cut through the red rock. Here are the photos of our adventure.

Thank YOU! Glad you're making good use of that router.
Have you enjoyed LOST yet?
Thanks for the enlightening conversation and entertainment.
We miss you already.
It's a miracle to have internet at home, you don't even know. And yes, we were glued to an even smaller screen last night watching the new season. We can't stop ourselves. Through the whole show I look up at Mike thinking he has the answers, and he doesn't. Rude.
I hope Mike's crew socks kept his feet warm in that frigid water.
I still haven't been to St. George. Looks like a lot of fun. Beautiful pics.
It looks like you two had tons of fun in the sun! It's so beautiful down there.
