Mike reenacting his third grade picture where he had every baseball item he owned on at one time. I think he looks like a little league coach....
The ladies of Italian Fiesta 2008. The day after New Years Amy, Annie and Katie planned a huge Italian meal, which they had been prepping for for weeks. The night included lots of devastatingly delicious food, a viewing of "Life is Beautiful" and an Italian language lesson courtesy of Joe England.
Our very own Mussolini Mama
The cooks of Italian Fiesta 2008. Yes, Amy, Annie and Katie did make shirts for all of the women. Mine said "Michelangelo: Married to Mike"
New Years Eve we played a game where you have to pick up a kix box with your teeth. Both feet remain on the floor but nothing else (besides your head) can touch the ground. After every round more of the box is shaved off. This is what remained by the end: a flat piece of cardboard. Katie, Joe and I tied and then paid for it in bum cramps for several days afterwards.
We took a short trip to Mexico after New Years (mostly for Tacos Jr., which was closed unexpectedly. The jerk.). We strolled along the dirty beach, did a little shopping, and checked out the surf. Or at least Mike did.
One night Mike and I went for a walk along the beach just as the sun fell below the horizon. Lovely.

ok, let's give credit where credit is due. I really did not do much for the Italian Fiesta except get really excited, and forget to wash the flags before we put them on the shirts. Anne and Amy dominated that and did a fantastic job! It was a blast though, that's for sure :)
this looks so fun! We miss you guys.
Looks like a blast! I wish I could have gone. Except for the part where Dan is threatening Anne with a knife.
