Day at Home

When Jude and I went out to the car to run errands this morning, we realized that both car seats were sitting peacefully in other cars, miles and miles away. So, Jude and I had a day at home today. Among other things like laundry and baths, we made some fudgesicles (thank you, Smitten Kitchen) and blew bubbles and then ate said fudgesicles with relish. After being gone all weekend (Mike and I had a little get away to San Luis Obispo...such a lovely place), it was nice to spend some time with my little buddy.
I think Jude likes chocolate...

Watching the bubbles fly away.

Oh, how lovely. I miss days like that. Seems like they are harder and harder to get the more your life fills up with work and house and church and blah blah blah. Not in a bad way, just different. I am glad you are treasuring every moment with your big big boy. I still remember those lovely last days with my little Jed before our Zoe came. We miss you. V

That last picture is pure magic, Em. And I'm glad you liked SLO. So glad. I thought you might would.

He has gotten so good at those bubbles. He must have finally learned to blow out the side that wasn't just dipped in bubbles :)
